• SYNOPSIS

“This ordering is so difficult!” We hear this every day on the streets, referring to Cuba’s new so-called economic Ordering Task. In this Desvelo we began to dissect the subject. Rather than inviting an economist to talk about theory, we brought the protagonists. Saily from Amarillo told us about her experiences as an entrepreneur and how everything became more difficult after the new measures went into effect on January 1, 2021. Daniela Rojo, a single mother and an activist, told us about all the difficulties she had to overcome after the economic reform. Lastly, Giselle González, a doctoral student in Canada, told us about how her life and the way she helps her family changed after the measures. People, don’t miss it, there’s more where this came from.
